Relational Label Control – This control allows you to display additional information related to the job on the mobile device for the users while they are capturing data. For example, you may want to display Health and Safety information related to the site within the job details and ask the user to confirm that they have read this prior to completing the job. We have made this flexible and it should allow for most scenarios.
Numeric Control – This control now allows you to capture decimal points on the device.
Dropdown Control – This has been enhanced to allow you to display a “popup” with additional info on the selected item.
For example if we had the following Question – “Is the risk assessment monitored and reviewed on a regular basis and when necessary? (e.g. after an accident or incident)” and the answer was “no” we could offer additional info in the popup such as: “A procedure is required to ensure that risk assessments are reviewed every year or so and to make sure controls are still effective. During the year, if there is a significant change, check that the risk assessment is relevant and if necessary, amend it making sure existing precautions are adequate enough to deal with the risks.”
Multiple “Verbose” Values -We can now associate multiple “verbose” values with our list controls. Using the example H&S question from above, we could set up a verbose value for the popup information, a verbose value for a score per item, and up to 10 additional verbose values for what is to be displayed in the report document.
Again, this offers flexibility to allow you to create the reports you need, including scoring and pricing information for items in a dropdown or radio list control.
Improved Client & Site Management
The client & site management features of the system have been enhanced to allow a wider range of CRM functions, and also to allow the setup of custom fields on these screens.
Jobs Management Improvements
We have added the following features to the list jobs screen to allow for enhanced tracking and management of jobs within eSquiggles.
Overdue Jobs - If a job is overdue (ie. the scheduled date and time has passed and the job is not compelte) then a bell icon will be displayed beside the job to indicate this. There is also an option to “always display overdue jobs” which means irrespective of the date range selected, all overdue jobs will be displayed.
Job Categories - “Categories” can be configured in the system along with associated colours to indicate the category. This can be customised to suit whatever categories are required – a simple example may be High Priority (red), Meduim (yellow), and Low (green).
Clone Jobs – Jobs can be “cloned” – a copy of the job is created as a new job with a new job reference number and is reset to the status of submitted. This could be useful for repeat visits where you wawnt to take a copy of the most recently completed information on site.
Password Resets
Company Administrators can now reset passwords in the system without needing to contact us for assistance.
Notes
Site records now include a “notes” tab which allows users to store general notes against the site.
“Recent” Jobs & Sites
The menu will “remember” the 3 most recent sites and jobs that you have viewed and add quick access links to the “Client-Site” and “Jobs” menu items respectively.
Auto Start
We have configured the mobile installation to configure the mobile applciation to automatically start when the device is switched on.
Job Reference Numbers
The job reference number will be displayed on the mobile device to allow the users to easily identify the jobs if they need to contact the office for any reason.
