New eSquiggles software for legionella risk assessment, control and compliance

The eSquiggles team has unveiled the newest addition to its mobile product suite – eSquiggles Compliance.  eSquiggles has rapidly become the software of choice for mobile and onsite risk assessment within a number of sectors including the Water Management sector. This legionella control and risk assessment software builds on the core functionality of the eSquiggles Risk Assessment software and allows service users and end users to create and manage a water monitoring regime electronically, as well as manage the legionella risk assessment phase and document production, in clients’ existing company templates if required.  Key features include: creation of legionella compliance regime, legionella risk assessment, exception & non-compliance reporting, asset management, asset tracking, electronic logbook, client portal and reporting dashboards. The use of eSquiggles drives compliance with BS8580:2010 and L8 ACoP and is extremely cost competitive, with significant return on investment potential. The launch marks a significant step forward within the Water Management sector.

An Efficient Route to Gathering Passenger Information at Nexus

Nexus is the Passenger Transport Executive responsible for public transport across the Tyne & Wear region.  Following a recent competitive tendering exercise by Nexus, eSquiggles was selected as the solution for automated data collection, job scheduling and reporting around a number of internal functions.  The Continuous Monitoring (CM) Team within Nexus is responsible for surveying passengers to gather information on travel patterns and concessionary and travel ticket usage. Accuracy of this information is crucial so that over £50m per year can be reimbursed to transport operators for carrying concessionary passengers. Additional data on information and infrastructure audits and punctuality checks is also collected to produce management information and performance indicators.

With a growing market across the rest of the UK, we are pleased to have now secured our first client within Northern Ireland.  Belfast based Graham Environmental Services is part of the Graham Group.  Founded over a century ago, Graham has certainly moved with the times to stay at the forefront of its chosen markets by remaining focused on customer satisfaction, working efficiently and investing in technology to facilitate this.  The Environmental Services division was the first within the Graham Group to invest in the eSquiggles risk assessment and mobile working software. Completing risk assessments by hand and retyping the documentation is now a thing of the past and already the company is exploring other areas where eSquiggles could improve ways of working.

BIFM members attend eSquiggles Mobile Technology seminar

The seminar was well attended by key FM professionals from across Scotland and explored the benefits of implementing mobile risk assessment software within the FM sector. Presented by one of eSquiggles’ prominent FM clients, the main focus was around mobile technology as an enabler of Health & Safety compliance, accountability and cost cutting.

This product, eSquiggles Field Service Management, will target field service companies who have a requirement to mobilise their workforce. The product, available in a number of versions, will allow job and resource management, remote data capture by field workers including time and parts used on jobs  and the ability to integrate to Sage Line 50.
