We were initially intending to use eSquiggles to allow our mobile workers to carry out their jobs electronically and allow us to produce exception reports, service schedule reports, risk assessments and maintenance schedules without having to retype them.  However, the scope of the project has now extended in that eSquiggles will also replace the functions which our CRM system should manage.  In essence, eSquiggles will be the core IT system managing all client and job information across the company.  We are currently on phase 1 and are confident that we will see a quick return on investment

Until now our risk assessment process has been paper based which brings with it a significant element of administration. We look forward to moving to an automated method of collecting the data and producing the final reports automatically, which should hopefully save us a lot of time and money.

Freeston will initially focus on using eSquiggles for asset tracking and temperature monitoring for high volume inspections. We have pioneered the use of the integrated temperature probe, which speeds up the process and improves the accuracy of the reading and the data integrity. We were very impressed with it and it gives us more confidence that important temperature data won’t be misread or mistyped. Gathering data on paper forms and retyping into reports was time consuming and sometimes inaccurate. eSquiggles has transformed this for us. The use of eSquiggles lets us manage assets electronically, allowing us to view asset history easily on the PDA. The first phase of the project within some key client sites has gone well and we look forward to future phases

We were keen to eliminate processes which were a strain on time and money. Manually collecting risk assessment data and typing up reports was an obvious inefficiency. We have recently invested in the eSquiggles risk assessment tool to automate this process which should save our risk assessors time and reduce the level of admin and paperwork. All going well, the number of eSquiggles users will grow in line with the growth of the division.

With up to 20 people on any one shift, we simply had to find a better and more cost effective way of tracking staff and jobs. Mobile working software running on PDAs was the obvious solution to us.
