Jobs can be allocated automatically dependent on field workers’ utilisation, by field workers’ specialisms’ or during tight timescales, dependent on field workers’ geographic location.

Ease of Scheduling

Job scheduling rules can be used to automatically assign particular jobs to an employee based on skill-set or other criteria. Jobs can be planned for a particular time and the system will highlight which employees are free to undertake this work. Jobs can also be created and assigned to field workers on a recurring basis.

eSquiggles can fully integrate with email and calendar systems such as Outlook making it easier to view workers’ availability and making job allocation more efficient. For many industries there is a need to perform jobs on a regular pre-planned maintenance cycle. eSquiggles automates this process and allocates against recurring job cycles. Recurring jobs can be set to allocate automatically on a daily, weekly or monthly basis until the end date of the job has been reached.

The integrated resource scheduler presents an organisation with an easy to view summary of all field workers’ utilisation rates in diary format across a period of time. This gives a broader view of scheduled jobs over eg. a week or month and gives an accurate indication of availability of staff. The drag and drop features allows changes to be made quickly and easily – a number of jobs assigned to a person on a certain day can be re-allocated to an available and suitable colleague in seconds.
