System Requirements

There are certain technical requirements which need to be considered before using the eSquiggles mobile working solution. Below is a rough guide as to what your organisation will need in place prior to commencing with an eSquiggles project.

Mobile Device Information

A mobile device/PDA with either Microsoft Pocket PC 2003 or Windows Mobile 5+ installed.

Typical devices include:

• Orange M3100
• Orange SPV500
• O2 XDA

Synchronisation Information

If you wish to synchronise with eSquiggles remotely then you will need a mobile data connection. Typical synchronisation methods include:

• GPRS / 3G
• WiFi – if your mobile device supports this, then when in range of a WiFi signal you can synchronise
• USB connection to your PC - this does not require any mobile or WiFi subscription.

eSquiggles Web Application

Internet access is required to log, track and report on jobs/workers/subcontractors, etc..

Typical Web browsers include:

• IE 6+
• Opera
• Safari
• Firefox
