Western Environmental has recently gone live with the eSquiggles risk assessment software. Western first trialled eSquiggles to automate water testing surveys and legionella risk assessments.

Tim Jones, Business Development Manager, Western Environmental explains, “Although there were slight teething problems during the implementation of the software, the trial phase showed the great potential of adopting such a flexible data collection tool. The potential cost and efficiency benefits were clear from an early stage and we were pleased when these started to come to fruition. The creation of our existing paper forms in electronic format was a key selling point for us. We have been operating for 21 years with a multitude of inspection and survey forms which we wanted to continue using – albeit in electronic format. The eSquiggles team were able to make that happen quickly so that we could move forward with full implementation. We now look forward to more cost and time savings as we commence rollout to other areas of our business.”
